The track will close tonight and not reopen until Friday morning at 9:30 A.M.

Friday is open Practice for racers only!

Well the Best In The West race has come and gone. I know, I know, it was actually two months ago.

It was a good turnout with people coming from as far away as Seattle. A good turnout, unfortunately some of the people who were hoping to come were unable to make it. Next time!

Well it's that time. Best in the West starts tomorrow. I know alot of people are excited about it. We feel that the Northwest deserves a great place to come and race RC and have a great time. You can do it at RISE RC at the Pats Acres complex.

The Best In The Northwest Offroad Championship!

This will be a 2-Day event.
Friday Track will not be available for practice (closed).
Saturday will be practice and Heats.
Sunday will be Mains

Saturday the track will open for practice at 8am-1:00pm(5hrs), Drivers Meeting 1:00pm, Racing will start at 1:15pm consisting of three heats.

Three 7 minute Quals. (Rocket Round Format!!)(Times may change/vary+/- due to entry's)

Sunday will be all Main events.
Nitro Mains
A Mains 30 Minutes
B Mains 20 Minutes
C- Mains 15 Minutes

E Buggy Mains 10 Minute Triple A's
B- Mains 10 Minutes

**Personal Transponders Required**

Classes : 1/8th Buggy, 1/8th Truggy, 1/8th E-Buggy.
*Exhibition Classes: 2wd Mod Buggy

3 to make class and must be signed up and paid prior to the event cutt off date june 18th.

Prizes/Awards will be announced!!

Looks like.this weekend is going to be.nice. In the 80's!

Originally Mike and I had plans to go to the ROAR.nats this week. Unfortunately, things didn't work out.

Mike.will.be at the all day tomorrow with the timing system doing some tuning on setups.

I will be home in Seattle building a drivers stand for my personal test track! Wish me luck!

Rise Rd 1 is complete

Because of the sketchy weather forecast we had to shoot from the hip and reschedule round 1 from Saturday May 14th to Friday the 13th. Friday's weather was beautiful and warm, which helped dry the track for our first real track time of the year.

The Rise RC crew has been cramped up all winter long doing everything but race rc. The time for round 1 finally came. We actually get to drive the rides we had been building all winter.

Practice started at six o'clock and most of had to remember how to start a a nitro buggy, then how to drive.

Seriously though, it was great to see all the smiling faces out at the track.

The mains ended about 3 AM.

A great night, a little bit late though:).

I will post here with a write up from the Rise RC team.

Rd 1 under way soon. Been at the track all day sweeping puddles and praying the water goes away. Thank goodness we had the guys come out Wednesday to pump 1600 gallons of water from the track!

2010 looking back

Looking back at 2010, our second year of operation, we can only be satisfied. We held the ROAR regionals, our own points series, and the only race in the Pacific Northwest with complete Manufacture support, the Hotbodies Challenge.

The year started rough because of the late season rain, which always causes us to scramble a bit. But the track crew nailed down two awesome layouts for the summer.

2011 is a new year and new season to enjoy RC. We look forward to progressing and building on our momentum of the past two years!

HB no longer offers the D4. The Rise team campained it for a couple seasons. Sad to see it go. Sayonara!
